Timber framing is an age-old building method that celebrates the beauty of wood and the skill of the joiner. Using heavy timbers connected by mortise and tenon joinery, we create self-supporting structures that eliminate the need for load-bearing interior walls.
This allows for soaring cathedral ceilings and dramatic open spaces. We often build "hybrid" homes, combining the visual impact of timber framing in key areas (like the great room or entryway) with the cost-efficiency of conventional framing elsewhere. Our team is skilled in cutting and raising frames that stand as works of art.

Design
